At least one credit union in northern California has made it very easy to apply for a San Francisco auto loan The San Francisco Federal Credit Union has provided Internet users with two online locations where a “hit” with a mouse can reveal a possible way to get added cash.

One “hit” produces a downloadable auto equity application. A second “hit” gives the internet user the ability to download an auto refinance online application. Completion of either application would put the Internet user on a path towards a San Francisco auto loan.

The Credit Union gives sample rates for such a loan. Yet the Internet user who obtains the Credit Union’s San Francisco auto loan is not guaranteed those same rates. His or her rates would be determined upon approval of a loan.

Moreover, not every vehicle qualifies for one of those Credit Union loans. The Credit Union reserves the right to inspect any vehicle before granting a loan to the owner of that vehicle. Someone with a car more than 6 years old might find it difficult to get a San Francisco auto loan. Someone with a salvaged vehicle would probably never manage to secure such a loan. In addition, the Credit Union’s inspections seek to identify any wheelers and dealers who would like to stick the Credit Union with a “sour” deal.
